Re: How much money can I expect to make a day (ball-park) with a storefront?

@Oguzksk Those numbers are based on a 20% profit margin. The original poster asked how much sales a day would be needed to net $100k a year. So I started with the $100k a year, applied a 20% profit margin (which I explained is probably not realistic in a storefront) and did the math. $500,000 * 0.2 ...

8oz - 1.75
12oz - 2.39
16oz - 2.75
*20oz - 3.39
I'd ditch the 8oz and go with...

12oz - $2.25
16oz - $2.75
20oz - $3.25

I agree that when you see the same customers all the time you need to be more aware of pricing than when you are at large events.

Re: How much money can I expect to make a day (ball-park) with a storefront?

@Oguzksk The OP asked how much you would need to sell everyday in order to make $100k a year. I said $42k is the gross monthly sales needed to generate a $100k net income, based on a profit margin of 20%. Re: NEW KID on the block question, useful Vendor info

I'm not so sure it's bashing. Seems more like people just reporting their experiences.

I don't have a dog in this fight. I've never ordered from IcySkyy, but I do think their prices are too high.

Re: Cones or Bowls

Unless there is a strong regional taboo about Styrofoam, I'd go that route. It's cheaper and insulates better than the flower cups. The advantage of a bowl is it allows for easier syrup coverage and you can serve faster. But many customers prefer cups because they can take them in the car with ease.

Re: Hot water question

It looks like you already have a generator, so I'd go electric, rather than propane: https://www.amazon.com/Ariston-GL2-5-El ... B0006GVO12

Bleach solution, rinse, dry. Usually it's just a shake and rinse kinda thing, but a long bottle brush comes in handy for any funky stuff.

A lot. Styrofoam is an excellent insulator.
