I'm building out a truck for event sales. I've gotten some marketing tips from Snowie and a little info from 800 Shaved Ice but I don't think I have enough to build a marketing plan. I don't want to stumble around in the dark. I'm interested in any and all information, experience, insights and strategies about finding and selling my truck to events.

We run a tent and table operation, but the principles of booking events are the same. Here's a post I did last June with how we do it. Track record, a professional-looking operation, and proven ability to serve a lot of customers are all important. You also have to do your homework - not all events are worth the bother.
