Swan machine shaving ice intermediate.

This is a new machine. It doesn't seem like it puts the ice out like it should. using the round smaller ice. My question is I was looking at the blade mount and the two screws that the blade sits against. one is a little further out than the other one. Is this normal because it would have been put this way from the factory. when we do get through shaving a block it's a little thicker on one side than the other. Any suggestions
