Try removing the ice block once it's frozen. As IceClouds has mentioned, your ice needs "room" to expand. When it is restricted, it will start to expand upward. Ice will usually crack when that happens. Hope this helps!

We use a Honeywell system that was installed by a local company. As an Android user, I use gDMSS to monitor the cameras remotely from my phone. For Apple users, it's iDMSS. Hope this helps!
