Well after 3 months of daily work we finally finished our shave ice trailer. We bought this from Tennessee and completely gutted it and turned it into what you see below. We went a little over budget but love the way it turned out.

The outside is amazing... but the inside is even better! Very NICE. This is inspiration for when I do my first mobile unit.

Wow that looks great! Definitely raising the bar.

I hope I'm wrong, but I think that butcher block countertop is going to take a beating.

yeah, we went back and forth on the butcher block for quite some time, we were going to do a laminate and then we saw the butcher block was on sale and loved the way it looked. We did about 8 coats of a food grade sealer. after it was all dry we had a junk piece and i poured syrup and pure concentrate all over it and let it sit for about 2 hours. I was worried it could soak in or stain the wood, but it wipes right off. we will see how it holds up though!

You should be good if you keep reapplying the sealer. Otherwise it will gain a unique "patina" over time. ;)

Looks Awesome. Very well done. Our HD said absolutely no wood serving surface and must have smooth flooring. I couldn't see them saying no to that though. I live in a weird City. Lol.

The Health Department in my area also required smooth surfaces, but as i talked to them they told me they just put that in the rules but they are open to ideas. We brought up the diamond plate flooring and they were completely fine with it. Butcher Block they were also concerned about but once we showed them the food grade sealer they had no problem approving.

Here is a picture from last nights crowd.

Wow. Great turnout. Here in Texas, one thing we are always concerned with. Too many people in line with no shade. We have a canopy, but just as your ordering. We tend to start loosing some because one, no patiences and two, the Texas heat 95+ during the summer can be brutal. Humidity close to 97% in our location. Looks like the weather there was awesome. Im guessing that trailer was a little easier on the brakes going home. Lol. Well done.

How do you get so many people to come to your trailer? that's awesome!

Ice Clouds, love that trailer! It looks awesome! I also noticed you sprayed your Swan machine to a different color.

A beautiful set up like that, well deserving of a line. :D
