Mall business cart. Different concept! Check itnout

I have just opened a cart with shaved ice at the mall. I am using snowie block ice shaver. I know it is not as good swan or southern snow machines but I have limited space. The mall is not good so it changes the game. However on Black Friday I did great!

Also I have bought peach orange and pinacolada from htk supplies. They were not good at all and very expensive.

Snowie block ice shaver. No I don’t like but I will still keep it for my business. Mister Softee truck

Your set up looks awesome! Mall's are usually very difficult to get in here and expensive. I tried using the Snowie, it's for sure fast like those Hatsuyuki cubers but I still got 2 Swans in the end and never turned back!

I use between different vendors for my flavors, sometimes its a hit or miss. Overall, HTK supplies provided the back bone to most of my flavors and my customers liked it a lot. So I chose them as my number 1 supplier, super fast shipping too! I know most would agree with me on here hahaha.

Perhaps you should try other flavors they carry, they are always easy to work with. I'm sure they will gladly offer samples of other flavors if you contacted them, I always got fast reply on all my questions from the get-go.

Thanks! Yes malls are very expensive. I pay $4000 for Black Friday and Christmas. I just want to see how this business going to work in the mall.


Snowie Block ice maker is better Snowie 3000 but it is not a swan or southern snow cone. However I am gonna still keep the machine for my ice cream truck and sell my snowie 1000 on eBay.

Next time I am gonna order only samples not gallons from most of the shaved ice retailers. Htk is expensive by the way.

I have seen Snowie's Block ice maker in action. That thing is a "cheese grater"... It's a super fast machine but you can't adjust the texture of the ice. I think Snowie can still make some improvements to it. My take on Snowie's machines? They are not bad but they are more about quantity over quality. I take quality shave ice any day.

I don't think HTK/Hawaiian Snow is expensive. Their flavors are a bit more expensive than other companies but if you factor in shipping cost and taxes, it comes out to about the same. I like most of their flavors. (Yes, some of their flavors are just not good and should be taken away.) However, I especially like their customer service. I enjoy working with Kim and have been for years. She's knowledgeable and patient.
