Fuji Hums when stepping on pedal

I have a fuji that will work fine and then all of a sudden when stepping on pedal it just hums.
Changed capacitor and belt tension has been adjusted. Turning shaft a little bit it then will start and operated for a while sometimes making several shave ices then it repeats the cycle.
Any ideas.

What's your power source? Check if you are getting enough power. Sometimes this happens to me when I'm running too many things on the generator simultaneously.

You could also try greasing up the parts that need grease and see if that helps.
