NSF approved machines

Greeting to Shave Ice members, just joined and am in the process of building a trailer. Question on machines, In researching the old posts, I see NSF approval is required in Florida. I was not aware of this, it is not mentioned in the requirements from the Dept of Agriculture, which is the entity over mobile vending (for snow cones). Can someone bring me up to speed on this, maybe a Florida vendor? Also, I have not seen the Southern Snow machine talked about on this forum. I have a mentor that uses it, any thoughts? Thanks!!!
