Does anyone have some first hand experience on these machines from them?

How are the quality that comes out of it? Fine? Coarse?

I've heard that all you have to do is feed the block into the machine , preferred a 5"x5"x14" block, and it just shaves it extremely fast! Although i've heard that it does come out a bit coarse for most ppl, something close to cube shavers...
I love Shave Ice, period. :D

I recently aquired a Southern Snow machine and the block ice if tempered shaves a very snow like texture.

Really?! wow i've heard many sides from their machines. Some people say they are crush ice, and you are saying its fine snow. I was wondering if anyone can post some pictures of the end product from this machine :D

I think both the sno wiz and the southern sno are great sno ball or sno cone machines. However if you want some true Hawaiian style, you got to go with a Fujimarca or Swan.

it is a large machine and takes up a lot of space. my snow wizard is great, the colder the ice the better the snow. but it is not the same product as hawaiian ice. It is very simple and low maint. to operate and service.
I just recently was given a fujimarca and i am having a hard time with it.
