Please let me know your thoughts.... I have a Swan SI-100E machine, sometimes I don't have access to a wall outlet. Has anybody used a portable generator for their machine?

Yes, All the time. It works great but can be too loud for some events like music festivals.
I'm looking into getting a marine battery and AC/DC invertor to run my machine. There is a great article in the archives about battery power.

I run my Fujimarca shavers on generator all the time. I previously owned some Swans and didn't have a problem either. In my opinion, DO NOT go cheap on the extension cords. You want constant power to the shaver so doesn't mess up your motor. Good luck! :P
I love Shave Ice, period. :D
