Hey guys have any of you made shave ice when it's winter and Cold outside? I'm using my new fujimarca 709 and my own homemade ice that I either use tap water that I boiled or water from Costco. I feel like im getting my ice shaved nice and thin bit the texture is just not as smooth as I want. Im wondering if its because it not hot and the shaved ice is refreezing after i shave it. The nice little thin ribbons is makes kinds turns brittle and Makes it kinda crunchy even though it's a nice shave? And if I pack it at all np matter how gentle I am it makes it crunchy.
